BLANKETS
Create a handmade blanket in your favorite color, something that matches your surroundings, your school colors and my favorite...creating a snuggly custom baby blanket for a new little addition. Blankets come in all sizes. I make my baby blankets nice and big to be used for a lifetime and always include a surprise hat or booties [shhhh sometimes both]. The couch shawl blanket is fashioned like a large triangle shape perfect for curling up on the couch with a good book. As with the scarves, all blankets are on a first come first serve basis and all sizes are approximate based on design. Please email for a custom quote based on your special blanket requests. Contact me with the details of what you are looking for and we will work together to come up with something special :)

After that, I went on to play Tiger in the cult horror film, "The Burning". A year or so later, at 16 years old, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). I spent 6 weeks at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on their Pediatric floor. Although I was battling a very serious, life-threatening illness, I still have such fond memories of making cookies in the playroom and my nurse, Maureen, sneaking me in there after hours to try and keep my voice in shape, which was no easy feat given that my chemo meds were messing with all aspects of me. Fast forward to 2014! While recovering from surgery I was unable to do much other than just sit and relax, no driving, no exerting myself. I found myself thinking about my Grandma Rose and the hours I spent with her teaching me how to crochet when I was very young. I found crocheting and creating all different kinds of scarves and blankets was the one thing I could do to keep me busy during my recovery. I had the idea to create a company for my crochet creations as a way to give back to the one place that is near and dear to my heart, Sloan Kettering. It was the place that made it possible for me to grow up and raise 2 incredible children of my own. It is amazing what comes out of facing difficult challenges. The more I crochet the more I create! You never know what will show up on the site. I personally hand make each item so if you have an idea for something special, let me know! The best and most rewarding part of this is that 10% of each item purchased is donated to pediatric cancer research at Sloan Kettering. I use a variety of yarn and stitches so you'll never be at a loss for choices. Come join me on an amazing journey and a chance to give a little something back to the kids!

Please note, once you and I decide on your project and the yarn is chosen, a 30% deposit is required. This deposit is non refundable as it covers the supplies to begin your project.

If you need your item in a specific time period please let me know upfront so I can be sure to have it ready on time.
Scarf pricing:
$35 for most scarves (dependent on the yarn chosen)
For specialty scarves, i.e. pocket, extra long, etc. - prices may vary
Blanket pricing:
regular blankets start at $150*
couch shawl start at $90*
baby blankets start at $125*

Buyer pays actual shipping cost
All items shipped First Class through USPS, priority if requested.
10% of your purchase (not including shipping) will be donated to pediatric cancer research.
